About JD & Anne: JD and Anne bring ten years of college and high school coaching experience and seven years of baseball ministry to FCA in Southeastern Minnesota.
JD was born and raised in Richfield, Minnesota. He then went on to graduate from Wheaton College with a degree in History-Political Science and Education. While at Wheaton, he was a three year starter for the Wheaton Football team, one of the top Division III programs in the country, and was named all-conference in baseball. He went on to coach one year of college football at Wheaton before returning home to Minnesota to teach high school social studies and coach both varsity football and baseball. During his coaching tenure, JD had the privilege of coaching in four straight Minnesota high school baseball state tournaments and coached a nationally ranked American Legion Baseball team as well. During his playing days and coaching career, JD was actively involved with FCA Huddles and FCA Summer Football Camps.
Anne was born in Minneapolis, MN and has lived "all over the place." Her family moved overseas when she was fourteen to work with the persecuted church in Eastern Europe. After finishing high school at Black Forest Academy in Germany, she attended Wheaton College where she majored in Art, with a concentration in Graphic Design.
After teaching for eight years, JD and his wife Anne went into full time ministry with Athletes in Action. During their five years on staff with AIA, JD directed competitive collegiate mission teams in Latin America and New York and also led a bible study with members of the University of Dayton baseball team.
Anne is involved with the ministry by using her graphic design background to publish newsletters and various other written communications as well as update the Southeast Minnesota webpages. She has a heart for coaches wives, having experienced that first-hand.
JD and Anne have a son, John, two daughters, Kaitlin and Sarah, and a chocolate lab named Reggie. James Bolin James is currently part time staff as he raises his financial support to go full time. He and his wife, Nicole, grew up in Iowa and were married in August 2008. James placed 3rd in the 400 m dash at the Iowa High School Track and Field Championships in 2004 and was also a member of the 2001 Junior National Dairy Bowl Champion team. Both James and Nicole graduated from Crossroads Bible College in Rochester where James majored in Sports Ministry and Nicole in Youth and Family Studies. James trains student leadership teams and oversees our youth camp, clinics and flag football leagues. |
